ADNOC Gas announced the appointment of Fatema Al Nuaimi as its new CEO, effective January 1, 2025, following Ahmed Alebri’s decision to step down after nearly two years in the role. Alebri will transition to CEO of ADNOC Sour Gas next month.

Al Nuaimi, currently executive vice president for ADNOC’s downstream business management, previously served as CEO of ADNOC LNG until 2022. She also played a key role in developing ADNOC’s gas master plan.

ADNOC Gas, which consolidated the group’s gas processing, LNG, and industrial gas operations, became operational in 2023. Later that year, the company raised $2.5 billion in its IPO, one of the largest listings in the region, and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.

According to Reuters, ADNOC’s parent company is reportedly exploring a sale of an additional 3%-5% stake in ADNOC Gas.
