The Saudi Export Development Authority, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, has launched a “customs exemption for export” service to support industrial companies by waiving customs duties on designated industrial inputs used in export-bound products.

The initiative aims to reduce costs for national industrial firms and enhance their export competitiveness. Eligibility is determined by a company’s export performance over the past 12 months and applies to inputs listed in the Ministry of Industry’s industrial capabilities roster, which must align with the company’s industrial license data.

To access the service, companies must hold a valid industrial license. Applications will be processed within five working days via the “Senaei” platform, operated by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

The exemption is part of Saudi Exports’ strategy to streamline export procedures, facilitate global market access for Saudi products, and support the growth of non-oil exports in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
