Jordan offered 95,342 job opportunities in 2023, a significant increase from the 89,500 offered the year prior, according to Minister of Government Communication Muhannad Al-Mubaideen.

Speaking at the Government Communication Forum, Al-Mubaideen highlighted that this increase signals a “strengthening” of the national economy across both public and private sectors, as well as the investment environment.

Data from the Jordan News Agency (Petra) revealed that the average annual job opportunities generated by the Jordanian economy from 2010 to 2019 did not surpass 35,000, except in one year when it reached 67,000.

Al-Mubaideen emphasized that these statistics, provided by the Department of Statistics (DoS), show that Jordan is on the right path toward comprehensive modernisation.

The country aims to create one million job opportunities within the ten-year span outlined by the Economic Modernisation Vision.
