The Ministry of Commerce has released its quarterly business sector bulletin for the fourth quarter of 2024, reporting a 67% year-on-year increase in new commercial registrations. Over 160,000 new records were issued during the quarter, bringing the total number of active commercial registrations in the Kingdom to over 1.6 million.
The report highlighted growth in key sectors aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, including cloud computing, application development, financial technology solutions, tourism, entertainment and talent development.
E-commerce continued its upward trend, registering a 10% increase compared to the same period last year, with 40,953 new commercial registrations recorded during the quarter.
