Dubai-based AI startup qeen.ai has raised $10 million in a seed funding round led by Prosus Ventures, with participation from existing investors including Wamda Capital, 10x Founders, and Dara Holdings. This investment brings qeen.ai’s total funding to $12 million.

Founded in 2023 by former Google and DeepMind colleagues Morteza Ibrahimi, Ahmad Khwileh, and Dina Alsamhan, qeen.ai develops AI agents that autonomously execute tasks such as content creation, marketing, and conversational sales for e-commerce businesses. The company aims to expand its agentic AI platform, scale its team, and attract a wider customer base.

The e-commerce market in the MENA region is projected to reach $50 billion by 2025, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE as key drivers. qeen.ai’s AI agents aim to help businesses optimise operations and enhance customer experiences in this growing market.
